Senior Consultants

Senior Consultants, reporting to the Director, Testing and Measurement, are the project lead on various testing projects. They manage teams and are responsible for maintaining superior client relationships through excellent communication skills. They participate in business development activities by attracting clients and helping negotiate contracts. Senior Consultants provide technical and professional leadership to Research and Project Consultants as well as other staff and management.

Senior Consultants have a Masters or PhD in psychology with specialization in test development and measurement. They should have a minimum of three years of experience in test development, measurement and statistics, a minimum of three years experience in a project management role, experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SPSS and Internet navigation and experience equating with software packages (e.g., Bilog MG, Parscale). This position requires the ability to travel and to work flexible hours and overtime to meet project deadlines. Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.

Project Consultants

Project Consultants, reporting to the Director, Testing and Measurement, are the project lead on various testing projects ensuring that all products developed are psychometrically defensible. They are responsible for maintaining solid client relationships through strong communication skills. They participate in business development activities and help negotiate contracts that meet client needs. Project Consultants are expected to seek out resources and work within a team approach in managing and carrying out their work.

Project Consultants have a Masters in psychology with specialization in test development and measurement or a related field. They should have a minimum of one to two years of experience in a project management role and experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SPSS, testing and statistical software and Internet navigation. Previous experience in test development and measurement is an asset. This position requires the ability to travel and to work flexible hours and overtime to meet project deadlines. Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.

Research Consultants

Research Consultants, reporting to the Director, Testing and Measurement, are responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of credentialing and assessment products and services. They work within a multi-disciplinary team to create products that are psychometrically defensible. Where relevant, they communicate clearly with clients, pursuant to being prepared by the Director.

Research Consultants have a Masters in psychology with specialization in test development and measurement or a related field. They have a proven ability in facilitating, presenting and working as a team member. They should have a minimum of three years of experience in developing and implementing parts of assessment programs and conducting applied measurement research and evaluation (including statistical analysis). This position requires the ability to travel and to work flexible hours and overtime to meet project deadlines. Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.

Project Assistants

Project Assistants, reporting to the Manager of Testing Services, perform tasks supporting the cycle of test development, administration and reporting of results. They work closely with staff on various activities such as: inputting and updating candidate information, providing candidate support, formatting documents, recruiting invigilators, setting up test writing centres, helping with shipping and receiving of test-related materials and reporting internally, using in-house software, database programs, word processors and scanners.

Project Assistants must have a post-secondary diploma or equivalent education plus work experience (high school diploma and a minimum of one year administration or customer service experience). This position requires the ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required to meet deadlines. Bilingualism in French/English is desirable.
